GREATER HASTINGS

TO OUR VISITORS –

GREATER HASTINGS GREETS YOU.

May your holiday be enjoyable enough to make you want to come back again.

We appreciate your presence and we would appreciate also any suggestions you might make to help us in our objective of a Greater Hastings. Although only young we have already been able to make some progress and with the continued co-operation of the Borough Council and the generous support of the citizens of Hastings, hope to achieve still greater success.

Should you care to “come again” to our next Highland Games, our Blossom Week (which this year will be in September), our Christmas and New Year festivities, or any of the many other attractions we are planning, our organiser, Mr. Jack Baxter, will be pleased to help you or your friends with information. He will welcome your enquiries, and you can find him in the office of “Greater Hastings,” Queen Street, or through P.O. Box 478, or ‘phone 4398.

Sincerely yours,
H. B. POPPELWELL,
President,
Greater Hastings.

APPRECIATION

To all who made this programme a success, and to all, who would have helped, is asked, Greater Hastings extends its grateful thanks.

To those visitors who were here at our previous Games we desire to acquaint them of the passing of our late Organiser, Mr. Guy Hardenberg, and feel they will wish to join with us in an expression of appreciation of his sterling qualities.

HIS WORK LIVES ON
AND WE REMEMBER HIM

Secretary, Greater Hastings,
