Havelock North Garage Postcard 1913

Dear Mum, Lily and all,

Am just sending this postcard as I have no particular news. How about the Strikes   They seem to be coming to terms, at least by Hastings “Tribune”. The weather is once more fine again, so I am going out in the fresh air.

Yesterday afternoon I received a P.C. from Mrs […]

I wrote John telling him that I was not coming back until 17th inst. Annie’s cooking Rhubarb. I have managed gooseberries but Rhubarb is beyond me. Jack says I write so many letters, that I cannot always write the truth. How is Lily and all, I hope well. Tomorrow we are going to Havelock and Thursday to Napier so you will know the reason if there is no letter.

With lots of love and kisses
