“Kua hinga he totara o te wao nui a Tane”.
Our Rangatira, Dad, Poppie, Father, Great-grandfather and friend has passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his devoted and loving children Lorraine, Gerald, Tai, Joanne, Sheryll, Christine, Charmaine and whanau.
Being the last member of his generation, his death marks the end to an honourable life of a very proud man.
He stood tall until the very end and we are all pleased to know that he is now reunited with his best friend, our Mama, Kuini.
His Tangihanga is at Kaitoki Marae, and a service will be held at 11am, Wednesday September 5, to celebrate his life.
