Dance Teacher.
Born Napier 1 September 1922.
Educated Napier Girls’ High School; Dannevirke High School; Royal academy of Dancing, London, 1957 – Advances Teachers’ Certificate 1958.
Principal Joan Irvine School of Dance.
Life member Royal Academy of Dancing, London, appointed Examiner 1960; Licentiate Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing, London; member NZ Academy of Highland and National Dancing; vice-patron Hawke’s Bay Ballet and Dance Association.
Choreographer, producer of dance recitals in aid of Crippled Children’s Society – awarded QSM 1979, honorary life member CCS.
Address 213 High Street, Dannevirke.
