On May 17, 1997 at 51 Tanner Street, Havelock North, aged 88 years, passed away peacefully in the presence of her loving family, dearly beloved wife of the late Joe King Young, loving mother and mother-in-law of the late Charlie, and Daphne (Sydney), Molly and Merlin (Havelock North), Margaret and David (Wellington), Paul and Nancy (Auckland), Allan and Maylin (Upper Hutt), loving god-mother of Jane, loving grandmother (Mama/Porpor) of Susanna and Peter (Hong Kong), Sylvia and Kerry (Sydney), Kim and Harry (Sydney), Emma (Sydney), Sean (Sydney), Deborah (U.K.), Neville and Lisa, Andrew, Jeremy and Anita (U.K.), Annette, Justin, Dustin, Stephanie, Malcolm, Serena and Melanie, cherished great-grandmother of Vanessa, Megan, Tammy, Nathan, Jarrada, Dominique, Jordan and Daniel.
Funeral service will be held at “Crestwood”, 615 Heretaunga Street East, Hastings (near the cnr Willowpark Road), on Saturday, May 24, 1997 at 10.30am.
Interment at Mangaroa Cemetery.
