Awarded MBE 1989, Knight of St John 1985.
Past chairman and past president Hastings Area Order of St John, Hawke’s Bay East Coast Region of St John.
Victoria University of Wellington blue in table tennis 1951, 1952, NZU singles champion 1952, Hawke’s Bay singles and doubles champion.
Leisure activities include golf, tennis, trout fishing, gardening.
Address Maraetotara Road, Maraetotara, Hawke’s Bay.
