Territorial service in Hawke’s Bay (Waipukurau), mid 1960s (Private)
Began employment, Magistrate’s Court, Waipukurau, 1956; transferred to District Court, Auckland 1961, Lower Hutt 1962; Registrar, District Court, Thames (including appointment as mining Registrar and Clerk of Warden’s Court), 1964; Registrar, District Court, Te Awamutu, 1968; Deputy Registrar, High/District Court, New Plymouth, 1974; Senior Deputy Registrar, High/District Court, Hamilton, 1977; Registrar, High/District Court, Hamilton (including appointment of Sheriff, High Court, Hamilton) 1981 –
Sports: Thames Valley Rugby Representative, 1965-67; Secretary-Treasurer, various rugby, gymnastic, golf clubs
Recreations: rugby, golf, thoroughbred breeding and racing (part-owner of Rongonui, 1988, 1989, 1990 CJC Winter Cup winner)
