Keith Garland Letter 1984

17 July 1984

Keith Garland Esq,
708 Tomoana Road,
HASTINGS.

Dear Keith,

“NOT COUNTED” ATTENDANCE

I write to inform you that, because of your years of service to the Hastings Rotary Club, the Directors invite you to become a “Not-counted” member as far as attendance is concerned.

Whilst it is hoped that you will attend as often as possible, which you have always done, any absence incurred will not be recorded against membership attendance as far as official monthly returns are concerned.

This is a “prize” offered to members who have completed 20 years of service, and have reached the “Muldoon” age. There are 12 other such members in our club, so you are a fairly rare species.

Best wishes and good health to you and Molly,

Yours sincerely,
WF Crist
