Quietly passed away on August 8, 1997, at her home.
Dearly loved wife of the late Owen Snr and loved mother of the late Hurikino (Peewee) and Margaret, Marama, Owen Jnr, Teresa and Shane, Tahuwaka and Josie, treasured grandmother of her 11 grandchildren, daughter of the late Hurikino and Te Noa Kare Kare, sister of Tahana (deceased), Wiwi (deceased), Baby (deceased), Epiha (Pore) and Joyce, Mihaere (Darkie, deceased), Rangitaia (Goosie, deceased) and Wetini Wainohu (deceased), Rangiomata (Nan, deceased) and Ted Kara (deceased), Ketia (Roy, deceased) and Lil, Tuketenui (Bebe, deceased), Tahuwaka (Baba, deceased) and Mere, Makowharemahihi (Dick, deceased) and Hemo, Haimona (Simon, deceased) and Ethel, Pihopa (deceased), Rangikaewa.
Our Mum will be lying in state at her residence, 2 McDuff Place, Havelock North.
