Mrs Green,
C/o Messrs Ward Bros.,
Rotonui,
Wairoa, HAWKE’S BAY.

Dear Madam,

The calf is apparently affected with a form of Eczema.  This is brought about by change of feed, damaged or sour feed, etc.  If properly treated it disappears quickly.  It is best treated by giving a dose of Baking Soda in whisky.  For a young calf the dose is:-

Baking Soda   1 teaspoonful
Whisky   2 tablespoonfuls
in half a print of water.

Yours very truly
C.E. Cumming
