Dear Mr. Poppelwell,

As I understand you are holding a final Committee meeting for this year in a day or two, I felt that I would like to write to offer to you and to the members of your Committee my very grateful thanks for your loyal and efficient services during the past year.

Not only in relation to the Fun Sessions (the result of which was phenomenal and speaks for itself), but we have also had the efficient co-operation of your Committee in many matters, – all of them relating to the good of this Community.

May I take this opportunity of offering my heartiest congratulations to you all on the success of the Soldier children’s Party; there is no doubt that this was a very happy thought indeed, and brought much pleasure not only to the children but to the parents as well.
