Letter From Alma Mardon 1942

403w Queen Street

15-1-42

Dear Mrs Masters,

I find it very difficult to write what I would like to say to comfort you in what I know is a great sorrow to you.

I always feel that we shouldn’t be sad, because our boys have done what they wanted to do, & they have done their duty nobly & well & have given their lives for a cause.

I taught Bob when he was just a little boy at the St Barnabas Kindergarten so I have known him for many years.

Please accept our very heartfelt sympathy.

Yours Very Sincerely

Alma Mardon.
