Havelock North

12th January 1984

Dear Mrs C.

Thank for your help in writing the enclosed article, which will appear in the Cenntennial [Centennial] edition of the Herald Tribune on 4th of February.

I have about six articles in this edition and there will be numerous others that will be interesting to you, so I recommend you obtain a copy.

I have also sent a copy to to Mrs Douglas Allen at Waipu, who helped me with further information.

I have been promised a ride in the procession in a 1909 Argyll, which was originally owned by Mr L.H. McHardy of Blackhead station.

Best wishes for 1984.

Gilbert Lloyd

P.S. My only spare copy blurred on first page
Apologies.
