NAPIER CITY CENTENNIAL SOUVENIR WINE POT

At last we have a good deal of pleasure in sending you the Certificate of Ownership for the Souvenir Wine Pot purchased to commemorate the Napier City Centennial.

Like all voluntary projects we depended a great deal on the kindness and generosity of many helpers and we have been reluctant to push them too hard.  We are sure you will agree that the wait has been worthwhile, a magnificent hand crafted Certificate worthy to accompany your fine Souvenir Wine Pot.

A Master Register will be held at the Hawke’s Bay Art Gallery and Museum and we hope you will register any change of ownership by advising the Gallery, so that a truly memorable record of our Centennial will be maintained.

Pot number 18 was chosen by the Citizens of Napier to place in the ‘Time Capsule’ to be opened in 2074 and it would be exciting to know that the other 199 pots, one of which is yours, will still be registered for those of 100 years hence to recall.

We have endeavoured to make sure that all details are recorded accurately on the Certificates but should we have made any error which needs correction please let us know.

Most importantly check the number with that on your Wine Pot, it is most essential that this is correct.

Finally thank you for your support of our Project.  It has raised $2,000 for the main City Project – that of building extensions to the Hawke’s Bay Art Gallery and Museum Museum.
