Educated: St Joseph’s Convent, Waihi (Lake Taupo); Hato Paora Maori Boys College, Feilding; Mount St Mary’s Catholic Seminary, Greenmeadows, Napier
Ordained Catholic Priest 1977, Waihi Marae,  Lake Taupo; Assistant Priest, St Mary’s Parish, Taradale, 1978-79; Teacher, Hato Paora Maori Boys College, 1980-82; Assistant Priest, St Francis Xavier Parish, Whangarei, 1983-84; Superior, Catholic Maori Mission, Paki Paki, Hawke’s Bay, 1985-87; Ordained Bishop, Papa o te Aroha Marae, 1988
Recreations: listening to music, tennis, rugby, cricket, boating, reading Maori history, Maori cultural activities in general, anything that’s interesting and fun
