MATTHEWS, Walter Ivan.
O.B.E., J.P., NZ 415773 Flt Lt RNZAF.
On July 22, 1997 peacefully at Woburn P.S. Home, Waipukurau.
Aged 80 years.
Beloved companion and husband of the late Margot, dearly loved father of Jan and Bruce Lockhart (Feilding), Chris and Merilyn (Bribie Island, Queensland), Richard and Trina (Waipukurau) and Kay and Ian Clayton (Hastings), and much loved grand ‘father’ of Catherine, Jill, Stuart and Rachel; Elizabeth, Robert and Luke; Christie, Amber and Steve; Gabrial, Madelyn and Jassher.
A funeral service for Walter will be held in St Mary’s Anglican Church, Waipukurau on Friday, July 25, 1997 at 2pm and thereafter private cremation.
