MAYO, Valda Amy (nee Tritt).
Passed peacefully at the Hawkes Bay Regional Hospital on Saturday April 4, 2015, in her 90th year.
Dearly loved wife of the late Harold, for 61 years.
Cherished mother of Linda and Gordon White (Gisborne), Vivien and Doug Morton (Porirua), Diane Frater, Christopher and Deanna.
Devoted grandmother of Jacqueline, Hamish and Anna; Karla and Nigel, Rosemary and Richard, Joanne and Greg, Todd; Nicola, Gerrad and Karen, Clinton and Jaclyn, Lance and Sarah; and Jorja.
Proud Great Grandmother of Thomas, Robbie, Liam, Sophia, Riley, Lauren, Ethan, Jackson, Scott, Luca, Alice and Bowen.
A celebration of Valda’s life will be held at St Matthews Anglican Church, King Street South, Hastings on Friday April 10 at 1.00pm, followed by a private cremation.
In lieu of flowers donations to St John Ambulance would be appreciated and may be left at the church.
