McCORMACK, Carmela Mary (nee McKay)
Of Dannevirke.
On September 5, 2004, peacefully at home, dearly loved wife and best friend of Roger, much loved and admired mother to Nicky and Michael, Damian, Tash and Michael, and Daniel, special Grandma to Stephen, much loved daughter of Cecelia and the late Leo, beloved sister to Mother Cecelia Vincent (Teresa) (Little Sisters of the Poor, Perth), Dan and Susan, Bridget and Garry, Alex and Sue, Debbie and the late Brian, Gerard and Lorraine, Michael and Diane, Aunty to many adored nieces and nephews and treasured sister-in-law to Fay, Laurie and Shirley, Jocelyn and Neil and their families.
‘An inspiration to us all.
Carmela is now at Peace.’
Aged 49 years.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Dannevirke Cancer Support Group, P O Box 296, Dannevirke would be appreciated and these may be left at the Church.
Funeral Mass for Carmela will be held in St Joseph’s Church, Allardice Street, Dannevirke on Thursday September 9 at 11am followed by interment at the Mangatera Catholic Lawn Cemetery.
Vigil prayers will be held at the family home 167 Heretaunga Road, Dannevirke, on Wednesday Evening at 7.30pm.
