Royal NZ Army Medical Corps, Waiouru, 1950-53 (Captain). Army, 1950-53
Porirua Hospital, 1956, Superintendent Kingseat Hospital 1974-84 (retired); Consultant Psychiatrist, 1984-. extensive involvement with community organisations: Mental Health Foundation, Grow, Alcoholics Anonymous, Framework Trust, Odyssey Trust, Higher Ground.
