Educated Auckland Grammar School; Auckland University; North London School of Physiotherapy.
Physiotherapist in group practice; formerly staff physiotherapist Auckland Hospital, Beckenham General Hospital, Kent, England.
Executive member NZ Rehabilitation Association, board member Royal College of Physiotherapy, trustee NZ Manipulative Therapists’ Association Educational Trust; past president NZ Private Physiotherapists Association, past council member NZ Society of Physiotherapists.
Chairman Royal NZ Foundation for the Blind board of trustees, national executive member NZ Association of the Blind and Partially Blind; formerly vice-president Disabled Persons’ Assembly (NZ).
Attended numerous conferences on physiotherapy, role of organisations for the blind; numerous articles, papers on topics in disabled and medical journals.
Awarded OBE 1981, 1990 Commemorative Medal.
Leisure activities include music, sailing.
