MINUTES OF A MEETING OF THE COMMITTEE OF THE HAVELOCK NORTH SQUASH RACKETS CLUB, INC. HELD ON MONDAY 7TH DECEMBER, 1964 AT THE COURTS.
PRESENT: The President, Mr. J. Newbigin, presided over the following : B. Logan, I. Featherstone, R. Fraser, G. Cook, R. Moffat, G. Lowe, P. Hinton and I. Maclean.
APOLOGIES: An apology was received from P. Dingemans.
THE MINUTES of the previous meeting were read and confirmed.

GENERAL: It was unanimously agreed by the Committee to accede to Greater Hastings request and join that association by paying £1 annual subscription, as it was felt that the Club could create goodwill by so doing.
SOCIAL: The end of year Social held on Friday 4th December appeared to be very successful and the president thanked those who had helped make the evening so successful and also those concerned with the raffle.
TROPHIES: The secretary to write to the various donors of trophies thanking them and advising the names of the winners of each.
GROUNDS: It was felt by the Committee that the Council should be approached with a view to getting them to agree to concrete proposals regarding the entrance to the Courts being improved before next season gets under way. Mr. Newbigin to see Mr. Field and if necessary a letter to be written to the Council again stressing our concern at the state of the parking facilities, etc.
