Assistant Curate, Papakura 1960-62, Whangarei 1962-65; Vicar, Bay of Islands 1965-70, Matamata 1970-75; Advisor in Christian Education, Diocese of Waikato, 1975-80; Vicar, Tokoroa, 1980-84; Archdeacon of Waikato, 1976-80; Vicar General of Waikato 1977-84; Chairman, Provincial Board of Christian Education, 1978-80; Dean of Waiapu, Vicar of Saint John’s, Napier, 1984-90; Chairman, Provincial Board for Ministry, 1987-89; Vicar General of Waiapu 1987-88, Deputy Vicar General 1988-90; Bishop of Waiapu 1991-, Chairman, Napier District Council of churches, 1987-; Marriage Guidance Councilor, Supervisor, Waikato 1975-80, Tokoroa 1980-84, Hawke’s Bay, 1985-90; Chairman, International Year of Peace, Hawke’s Bay, 1986.
