An apology was received from Rotarian O’Meara

The Resignation of F. S. Candy was received

Letter from President Jacobs of Palmerston N regarding expenses of Conferences was discussed and it was agreed to confirm the principle that clubs should not be taxed for amusements provided for delegates and that the whole cost of Rotary administration requires careful consideration.

Parke [Park] Island Inmates dinner was fixed for Friday 4th March and a special committee is to be appointed at next weeks luncheon.

Bristol Rotary Club’s application re employment for orphan boys was considered and it was resolved (Maddison, French) that we approve of scheme and recommend club to undertake to place one boy per annum and to ask other clubs to do the same.

[R…] pamphlets were distributed with the suggestion that each be read at a luncheon.

Visitors’ cards – 250 to be procured.

Birthday programme for 23rd July was referred to Programme Committee

Semi-annual dues to Rotary International were passed for payment.
