MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE ROTARY CLUB OF HASTINGS, HELD AT THE H.B. FARMERS TEA ROOMS ON 29TH NOVEMBER AT 12.30P.M.

PRESENT:   President Don Patterson and 73 members.

BUSINESS:   After brief discussion, the following resolutions concerning the Club’s Officers for the 1978-79 Rotary Year were passed:-

1.   Moved Don Patterson/Piet Van Asch “That Roger Bate be President”   Passed.

2.   Moved Roger Bate/Haldane Scougall “That Frank Darroch be Vice President”    Passed.

3.   (a)   Moved George Pacey/Frank Darroch “That Lionel Wainscott be a Director (Past President)”   Passed

(b)   Moved Vel Velvin/Bill Kemp “That Bryce Jones be a Director (Past President)”   Passed.

(c)   Moved Keith Sands/Jack Cooper “That Doug Turner be a Director (Non Past President)”   Passed

4.   (a)   Moved John Holderness/Jim Redgrave “That Frank Crist be Secretary and Colin Young be Treasurer”   Passed

Meeting closed at 1.40 p.m.
