ROTARY CLUB OF HASTINGS
MINUTES OF ANNUAL MEETING HELD 5 SEPTEMBER 1978
PRESENT: Past President Don presided over 73 members.
ANNUAL REPORT & FINANCIAL STATEMENT:
These were taken as read.
After further explanation and discussion by Past President Don and Treasurer Colin, the Annual Report and Financial Statements were adopted, Patterson/Darrock [Darroch].
GENERAL: Arthur Powell suggested that the Directors look at the Jubilee Trust to ensure that idle funds could not be better utilised in some other direction.
NOTICE OF MOTION: President Roger advised the Meeting of a Notice of Motion to hand from David Fine to be discussed at the next Club Day. The Motion is “Singing of the opening song be restricted to the first Rotary day of the month only.”
