Minutes 1979-11-27 AGM

MINUTES OF THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OF THE ROTARY CLUB OF HASTINGS HELD IN THE MASONIC LODGE HALL ON TUESDAY 27 NOVEMBER 1979 AT 12.30P.M.

PRESENT:   President Frank Darroch and 66 members.

APOLOGIES:   Ed. Bate, Bruce Giorgi.

BUSINESS:   1.   Past President Roger Bate read his Report and commented on various aspects of it.

Colin Young amplified and commented on the accounts and Balance Sheet, and answered some questions posed by members.

Moved Roger B. / Colin Y. “That the Annual Report and Balance Sheet be adopted”   Passed unanimously.

2.   Officers for 1980-81 Rotary Year.

(a)   Moved Frank D. / Peter S. “That Jack Cooper be President”   Passed.

(b)   Moved Jack C. / Bryce J. “That Charlie Trask be Vice President”   Passed.

(c)   Moved Frank D. / Jack C. “That Frank Crist be Secretary and Colin Young be Treasurer”   Passed.

3.   It was resolved that subscription be retained at same level as the previous year.

4.   Allocation of Project Funds has already been made at October Meeting of Directors.

Meeting closed at 1.45p.m.
