MEETING CLUB SERVICE COMMITTEE AT THE HOME OF
GORDON MORLEY, 7 RAKAU STREET, HAVELOCK NORTH
4.5.81   at   7.30 p.m.

Minutes of Meeting 9th April were read and confirmed.

Membership – Number of new members up to target. Two cards are with Secretary ready for process.

The following reported alls well, Classification, Membership Promotion, Programme, Marshall Host, Fellowship.

Ladies Night to be held on 5th May, arrangements going well.  Numbers were 200 attending. Good response from Havelock and Crownthorpe young farmers group.

Entertainment – Don’s plans for 12th May starting to jel [gel].  Will call on club members as required.

Sgts – As Brian Aitken will be away for 3 months, Don will use past Sgts for May 12th. Past President to do Sgts on June 16th.

Club Visitor Lionel – reported death of H.A. Mitchell and that Byron Brook in Wellington Hospital.

General – Query on proceeds from Havelock North Lager Promotion. Roger Bate to be asked about CHEC

Next Meeting to be Sat 6 June.  After good discussion, members favoured taking wives out for night. Travel by Coach, Limit to $25.00 double, Arrangements left to Chairman.
