Meeting of Directors of the Rotary Club of Hastings, at office of Derek Burns, Queen Street, Hastings, at 5.15. P.M. on Tuesday 16th. July, 1985.

President:   Derek Burns, Rod Naylor, Stanley Brooks, John Mills, Tony Cross, Darryl Le Claire, Colin Young, Vel Velvin, Max Luttrell.

Minutes:  May, June, & July meetings were read & confirmed.

Matters Arising:

1.   The 3H Program was discussed by Colin Young.  Moved Vel Velvin/John Mills “That $1000 be sent by Hastings Rotary to the 3H Program, Rotary Foundation”.   Passed:
2.   Rotary Golf Classic funds discussed. Moved Stanley Brooks/Tony Cross “that the funds from the Hastings Rotary Golf Classic be passed to the Club Project Fund”.   Passed:
3.   Rotary Magazines for Club members, were explained by Colin Young.

Business:   The election of Honorary members for Rotary Club of Hastings – Rotary year, 1985/86

Moved:   Derek Burns/Bill Pascoe   “that Bill Patterson, Charlie Jackson, and Bill Kemp, be elected Honorary members of the Rotary Club of Hastings, for the Rotary year 1985/86”
