Minor Injuries Received By Motor-Cyclist

A Hastings motor-cyclist escaped with minor injuries when his cycle collided with a parked van early on the Hastings-Napier highway this morning.  He was Mr. Matt Tweedie, Brunswick Street, Hastings.

Mr Tweedie’s machine collided with a van parked on the side of the road while its owner, Mr. M.J. Thomas, Havelock North, made adjustments to the light.  The accident occurred at 12.20 a.m. about three-quarters of a mile beyond the Napier boundary.

Admitted to Napier Public Hospital Mr. Tweedie’s condition is reported as satisfactory.
