Assistant master Pawa Mission School and Siota College 1925; in charge mission district Tasiboko Guadalcanal 1926; curate St Luke’s , Christchurch 1928, Sydenham 1929; vicar Kumara 1930, Temuka 1933, Sydenham 1936, Ashburton 1940; archdeacon Akaroa and Ashburton 1944-49; archdeacon Christchurch 1949-53; vicar Merrivale 1947-53, Mt Roskill 1953; rector Honiara, British Solomon Island 1953, dean All Saints Cathedral Honiara, 1956-60; vicar Devonport 1961-65
