MURDOCH, Grant Bevan
On March 10, 1994 (accidentally, at Bonn Accord Harbour, Auckland), dearly loved husband of Patricia, dearly loved father of Natasha and James, much loved son of Betty and the late Bevan (Hastings), much loved son-in-law of Molly and Doug White (Hastings), loved brother and brother-in-law of Warren and Debbie, Andrew and Shiree; Jennifer, and William.
“There is music in the rigging when the wind begins to blow.
There is poetry in sailing when the seas are running free.
There is peace in the mind when the yacht starts to flow.
There is joy in the heart when a man puts out to sea.”
A service for Grant will be held in St Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Market Street South, Hastings, on Wednesday, March 16, 1994, at 1pm, followed by interment at the Mangaroa Lawn Cemetery.
