TEN POUNDS REWARD.
WHEREAS some evil disposed person or persons have often, during this present fruit season, entered the garden of WILLIAM COLENSO at WAITANGI (near Waipureku), and have stolen therefrom at sundry times large quantities of fruits and flowers and plants; and also sadly broken down and ill-used the fruit trees:
NOTICE is hereby given, that FIVE POUNDS will be paid to any one giving such information as may lead to the apprehension of any such thief or thieves ; and a further sum of FIVE POUNDS will also be paid by him upon his or their conviction.
The Police at Waipureku are desired to keep their eyes open.

TENDERS will be received until the 23rd instant, by WILLIAM COLENSO, for the digging, leveling, and clearing about 3 acres of enclosed ground, adjoining his dwelling-house on the hill of Napier.

A PUBLIC MEETING will be held at Ferrers’ Hotel, on Monday, the 16th day of April inst., at which WILLIAM COLENSO will address his Constituents and the Electors of the Town on certain public matters of note and interest. The attendance of all who can conveniently come is requested.
The Chair will be taken at half-past 6 o’clock precisely.
NOTICE TO CONSIGNEES.
WE beg to give notice that all Goods ex WHITE SWAN are at risk of the Consignee as soon as they are landed.
