Nelson – Hughes

At the Parish Church, Eastbourne, Sussex, on August 6, the Rev. Robert Quentin Nelson was married to Miss Elizabeth Margaret (Betty Hughes, elder daughter of the Rev. Canon F.P. Hughes and Mrs Hughes, of the Vicarage, Eastbourne, states a London message. The ceremony was performed by the Rt. Rev. the Lord Bishop of Chichester, assisted by the bride’s father.

Mr Nelson is the third son of Mr G. Nelson and the late Mrs Nelson, of Hawke’s Bay. His brother, Dr. H P Nelson, a brilliant man in the medical world, recently died at St. Bart’s Hospital.
