HASTINGS TRIPLETS

Mr and Mrs J. Anderson, “Kahuranaki,” Havelock North, arrived home from Wellington by the express train with their triplets, Margaret [Mary], Elizabeth and Rose.

Before leaving the Karitane Home, Wellington, the babies were presented with silver bangles, bearing their names, from the staff of Karitane.

For travelling the babies wore pretty little cream frocks and were the admiration of a large crowd of people on the station at Wellington.

The Karitane nurses also went to the station to see them depart with their parents.

They had been greatly loved at Karitane and the nurses were sorry they were being taken away.

Mrs Anderson is very proud of the babies’ appearance and reported that they were looking bonny and had gained a great deal in weight. There is only one pound difference between the weight of the three.

Hawke’s Bay folk will all wish the babies the best of luck.
