Newspaper Article 1939 – Nelson-Skeet Wedding

CHARMING NEW PLYMOUTH BRIDAL RETINUE:  The picturesque church of St Mary’s was the scene of a pretty wedding last Wednesday, when Barbara, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. G. Skeet was married to Mr Dick Nelson of Hastings. The popular bride chose a picture frock of self-sprigged ivory taffeta and her bridesmaids, Misses Beth and Joan Gibbons of Wellington, Miss Mollie Davidson of Hamilton and Miss Sybil Ross, wore similar frocks in honey colour and carried crimson flowers. – Glanville Clark.
