Newspaper Article 1941 – Jean Archer Death

The death has occurred in Tasmania of Mrs H. B. Archer, daughter of Mr and Mrs Oswald Nelson, of Mangateretere, Hastings. Mrs Archer was a well-known figure at A and P shows and sports meetings, at which she was a most successful competitor. She was also a keen follower at Hunt meetings in this district. Her love of sport and horses earned for her a name as a great horsewoman in Tasmania. She was an old girl of Woodford House and leaves her husband and four children.
