Newspaper Article 1944 – When There Are Seven!

WHEN THREE ARE SEVEN!

ON May 12 the “Coronation” triplets, daughters of Mr and Mrs. J. C. Anderson, Kahauraniki [Kahuranaki], Hawke’s Bay, were seven years old. These sturdy country children are now quite useful on their family farm and can even muster a small paddock of sheep by pretending they are little dogs. Life gets even harder for their mother for now the country school has closed down and Mrs. Anderson has to help the triplets learn by Correspondence School method. This is a severe tax for a mother who already spins and knits their clothes, bakes, and contends with all the routine of running a home in fairly isolated country.
