Sculls win to Tony Bone

Tony Bone, Hawke’s Bay, won the senior singles sculls at the rowing regatta on the Korokoro course, Wellington, on Saturday.

Bone, a top contender for a national title, did not jump the field till the last 500 metres.

He went on to beat Alex Garret, Star, by four lengths.
