Aramoho win regatta

The Aramoho Rowing Club won the Jury Cup rowing regatta on the Wanganui River on Saturday.

Aramoho scored 74 points, eight more than the second-placed Petone club.

Wellington won the senior eights and Hutt Valley the senior fours.

The Hawke’s Bay sculler Tony Bone had an easy win in his division of the senior single sculls.

Bone completed the course 12 seconds faster than the other division winner.

Final points were: Aramoho 74, Petone 66, Waikato 64, Union 42, Wellington 33½, Star 22½, Clifton 14, Hawke’s Bay 11, Hutt Valley 11, Wanganui 6.
