Bone wins Auckland singles title

Tony Bone, Hawke’s Bay, won the senior single sculls at the Auckland championships at Lake Karapiro on Saturday.

He beat A. Dawling, Whakatane by three lengths.

P. Watkinson, a length behind Dawling was third.

Hawke’s Bay were third in the Maiden double sculls, four lengths behind Ngaruawahia who were six lengths behind the winners, Whakatane.
