Newspaper Article 1975 – Rotary Presidents
The retiring president of the Hastings Rotary Club, Mr Bryce Jones (right), and the incoming president, Mr J. A. Redgrave, examine the chain of office which carries the names of the club’s 53 presidents. Mr Redgrave’s father, the late Mr A. F. Redgrave, was president in 1931. Nearly 200 people attended the presidential changeover in the Farmers’ Tearooms last night. Mrs Eve Rimmer, Whakatane, paraplegic gold medalist, was guest speaker.
