Lucknow Lodge

Headquarters of Nimons’ Havelock North-Hastings transport service in 1911. Left to right are Mr and Mrs James Angus, Edith Nimon, Roy Sherwood and Cecil Nimon. Mr Angus was the manager of Mokopeka station, and Roy Sherwood was later to establish a transport business in Hastings. The building is now owned by Rua and Terry Longley and they have restored it. Rua is hoping to open an art gallery in early September.
