Newspaper Article 1988 – from Shop-A-Holic to Choco-Holic

from SHOP-A-HOLIC to CHOCO-HOLIC

The Havelock North Retailers Association Christmas promotion will be an absolute hit with all chocolate lovers, young and old. Built around the theme ‘Be a Shop-a-holic and become a Choc-a-holic’, one lucky customer is going to win their height in chocolates.

The promotion runs from Thursday 10th and ends at lunchtime on Wednesday 23rd December with the draw for the major price of SIX FEET OF CHOCOLATES at 7pm that night.

Each participating shop has a winner’s prize of its own, and that winner goes forward to the major draw. This means that shoppers have the chance of winning more than one prize.

With Cadbury’s as the major sponsor, and the selection of chocolates vast, this could prove to be a choc-a-holic’s dream, and when shared with family and friends, what a ‘Happy Christmas’ it will be.
