Auctioneer Terry Coxon, holding the conditions of sale, at the auction yesterday of the landmark Hastings home of the late Will Franssen.

The house was passed in at $360,000, well below its government valuation of $522,000.

Agents are negotiating with two parties for the 5643 square-metre property and house.

Meanwhile, Mana Lodge, Poukawa, was passed in at $640,000 at auction yesterday.

Bidding for the 500 square metre home set in 18 hectares of land started at $500,000. More than 20 people attended the auction.
