Filming enthusiasts from Hawke’s Bay and Gisborne gathered here

WAIROA became a meeting point for filming enthusiasts from Gisborne and Napier on Saturday.

Hawke’s Bay Video Enthusiasts Club and Gisborne Video Camera Club had their annual meeting at the presbyterian lounge.

It is the second time they have met in Wairoa to share their interest and exchange knowledge on techniques of filming, and they will continue to do so in the coming years.

Michael Shields, soon to be president of the Hawke’s Bay club, showed creative ideas on filming and talked about his history in filming and acting. He came first in the North Island amateur film festival held in Wellington earlier this year.
