Snap happy Coasting along

SEASIDE EXCURSION: Ted Bos was along the 180 passengers last month on the first steam train excursion on the East Coast since the line closed to passenger trains in 2001. As it made its way to Gisborne last month locomotive J1211 often stopped for “photo opportunities.” Mr Bos took full advantage, as these photos, taken north of Wairoa as the train headed back to Napier, illustrate.
