It is estimated that the attendance at yesterday’s Show was about 16,000 people.  The total value of the motorcars at the Show yesterday is estimated at one hundred and forty nine thousand pounds, that is valuing the 496 cars which were on the grounds at three hundred pounds each.

Hawke’s Bay Tribune

On the show grounds yesterday Mr Nat Beamish was arrested and brought before the Commercial Travellers’ court and fined ten shillings and costs for disobeying the ruling of the Mayor at the last meeting of the Hastings Borough Council.
