Newspaper Article – Pottery demonstration
Mr Bruce Martin, professional potter, Bridge Pa, entrances a group of Form I children with his potter’s wheel today. The 15 children from the Havelock North primary schools and the Hastings and Heretaunga Intermediates have been chosen for a three-week art workshop. The course conducted by the Hawke’s Bay Education Board is the first of such an extensive nature in Hawke’s Bay. In the back row is Mr Brian Jakes, the course director.
