Newspaper Article – Pottery demonstration
Hastings potter Bruce Martin demonstrates his art to a group of young students today.
The pupils are taking part in a three-week art workshop in the Hastings-Havelock North area.
The course, described as a new concept in primary education in Hawke’s Bay enables pupils at the four Havelock North primary schools and the two Hastings intermediate schools to participate in fields in which they show particular talents.
These include pottery, painting, architecture, modelling and photography.
