“WAIKOKO” – PICTURESQUE ADJUNCT OF TOMOANA SHOWGROUNDS

A REGULAR ATTRACTION AMONG VISITORS to the Hawke’s Bay Spring Show is “Waikoko,” formerly the homestead of the late Mr William Nelson and now a picturesque adjunct of the Tomoana Showgrounds. The old house (seen above), covered by wistaria [wisteria] and the beautiful trees and gardens which surround it, are a constant source of interest.
